• How do I change my personal identification number (PIN) for my debit card?
  

  To change your debit PIN, call (888) 886-0083. Keep your card on hand and be prepared to enter your full card number.

  Once you are verified as the cardholder, you will be able to select a new debit card PIN. This change will occur in real-time.

• What do I do if I forgot my username?
  

  If you have forgotten your Online Banking Username, you are able to reset it from Chartway.com.

  Simply select Forgot Username located under the Login tab of any page of the website.

  You will be directed to the Forgot Username page where you will need to fill in the following information:

  • Member Number
  • Member Last Name
  • Full Social Security Number
  • Full Date of Birth
  • 5-Digit Zip Code

  After the information is filled in, you will then select where you want your Username to be sent to by filling in a matching Email or Phone Number of what is on your account. 

• What is happening to my mortgage?
  

  Chartway is moving the servicing of your first mortgage to our partner, Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS). As of June 1, 2021, you will receive a new loan number, which will be different than your current Chartway mortgage loan number.

• How do I create alert notifications on my account?
  

  Creating a Deposit Alert Notification

  1. Sign into the Chartway Mobile Banking App or your computer.
  2. Select “Settings & Alerts” in the navigation menu, then click “Alert Settings”
  3. Click “New Alert” and choose “History Alert” in the drop down
  4. Select the account you wish to set the alert for
  5. Select Credit Transaction, then select Greater than
  6. Enter in the amount of the deposit you want to be alerted for, then click save
  7. Select Phone or Text and enter in your phone number where you wish to receive the alert
  8. Agree to the Terms and click Save

  Creating an Available Balance Alert Notification

  1. Sign into the Chartway Mobile Banking App or your computer.
  2. Select “Settings & Alerts” in the navigation menu, then click “Alert Settings”
  3. Click “New Alert” and choose “Account Alert”
  4. Select Available Balance, then select Greater than
  5. Enter your desired balance you wish to be notified for, then click save
  6. Select Phone or Text and enter in your phone number where you wish to receive the alert
  7. Agree to the Terms and click Save
• How do I set up IDCheck?
  

  Just follow these steps at verify.coop.org:

  • Select Chartway Credit Union from the list.
  • Enter your member number and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.
  • Upload a photo of the front of your government-issued ID.
  • Upload a photo of the back of your ID.
  • Take a quick selfie for identity verification.
  • Your ID and selfie are securely stored and can be reused for future visits.
  • You’ll receive a unique verification code (valid for 20 minutes).
  • Present this code to the teller to complete your transaction as usual.
• How does Bill Pay service work?
  

  With Chartway’s Bill Pay service, you’ll never have to buy another stamp to mail your bills. You can pay an unlimited number of bills online to anyone you wish with Bill Pay. It sure beats all the trouble of sending checks through the mail. Enjoy the following benefits:

  • Access to pay your bills 24 hours a day
  • No stamps or envelopes
  • Make multiple bill payments at one time
  • Set up recurring bill payments (monthly, weekly, etc.)
• Where should I mail my monthly payment?
  

  After June 1, 2021, you’ll mail your payment to:

  Specialized Loan Servicing LLC

  (Please include your name and mortgage loan number on all requests)

  Payments received at Chartway after the transfer to SLS will not be processed by Chartway but will be forwarded on to SLS. Please make sure to mail payments directly to SLS to avoid a delay in payment processing.

• Will I still see my loan in Chartway Online and Mobile Banking?
  

  You’ll soon be receiving a welcome packet from SLS with your new mortgage loan number and instructions for registering your account at www.chartway.servicingloans.com. If you’d like to continue viewing your mortgage in Chartway Online & Mobile Banking moving forward, please use the website www.sls.net to view your account information.

  To import your SLS account into Chartway Online Banking:

  • Click on the “Link Account” button
  • Search for “Chartway Mortgage”
  • An option will appear with the Chartway “C” logo
    • Input username and password for the SLS website

  Then, you will see balance and history as of June 1, 2021, in Online and Mobile Banking. For transactions and documents prior to the move to SLS, view your Chartway estatements in Online or Mobile Banking.

• What is the maximum value per check deposit allowed in Mobile Deposit?
  

  The maximum amount that can be deposited in a business day is $75,000. There is no limit on the number of checks deposited, provided the monetary value of the deposits does not exceed $75,000.

• Will my debit and credit cards with the old logo still work?
  

  Your current debit and credit cards will work since we are not changing your account number or your online banking login. We’ll begin replacing the cards with our new logo and colors over time as current cards expire.

• How do I change my address or any other contact information?
  

  You can update your contact information within Online Banking.

  1. Log in to Online Banking or Mobile App
  2. Click “Settings & Alerts”
  3. Select “Update Contact Info”
  4. Edit your address
  5. Click “Save”

  If you have multiple account numbers, select each box to update contact information to all accounts.

• What services are available at other Service Centers?
  

  Service Centers are located throughout the United States and provide limited service to credit union members.

  • Member number and ID are required to conduct any transaction.

  Transactions Available:

  • Limited cash withdrawals: Based on funds availability of the member’s account, withdrawals of $500-$1000 can be made at each service center, with a maximum of $10,000 daily.

  • Loan Payments
  • Cashier’s Checks

  Transactions Unavailable:

  • Check Cashing– (A check may be deposited and subject to a hold based on Chartway’s check hold policy. Based on the check hold and member’s available funds, the member can then make a withdrawal from the account.)

• Would Chartway ever ask for specific confidential information?
  

  Chartway will NEVER contact you directly and ask for specific confidential information (login credentials, PIN, card number, etc.).
