VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Chartway Credit Union recently announced the promotion of Mindy Estok to chief lending officer. With 27 years of experience at Chartway, Estok most recently served as senior vice president of real estate lending and now joins the credit union's executive leadership team.

In her new role, Estok will provide strategic leadership across Chartway's consumer, real estate and commercial lending teams while helping guide the credit union's broader lending and credit risk management strategy. Her responsibilities also include driving strategic growth, diversification and innovation in support of our members' needs across Chartway's lending portfolio.

"Mindy's commitment to Chartway and our members has made a meaningful impact across the credit union for nearly three decades," said Rob Keatts, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Chartway Credit Union. "I'm excited to see her continued growth at Chartway and am confident her sustained leadership will help move our lending business forward."

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to take on this role at an organization that has been such an important part of my career," said Estok. "Lending helps our members achieve their financial goals and look forward to my continued work alongside our talented teams to build on what we've accomplished, strengthen how we serve our members, and create new opportunities for growth."

Her promotion to chief lending officer marks a pinnacle moment in Estok's nearly 30-year success story with Chartway. She first joined the organization nearly three decades ago as a consumer loan consultant and steadily rose through the credit union's ranks. Throughout her tenure, she held key leadership positions including vice president of project management, senior vice president of member experience, and most recently, senior vice president of real estate lending. By serving across these diverse areas, she built the extensive institutional knowledge and foundational expertise that she now brings to her new executive role leading Chartway's overall lending strategy.
