A: Qualifying members who have their pay directly deposited into their Chartway account within the previous 30 days may qualify for up to one month’s net pay (max $5,000) for the 90-Day Relief Loan, or up to two months’ net pay (max $10,000) for the 12-Month Relief Loan.

A: For both loans, your first payment is deferred for 90 days.

Full balance is due no later than 90 days after disbursement.* Maximum loan amount: up to one month of verified net pay, not to exceed $5,000. Eligibility requires at least 90 days of membership or qualifying credit and direct deposit, or a minimum of $500 in monthly deposits to a Chartway account for the past three months.
2 APR = Annual Percentage Rate. 4.99% APR fixed for terms up to 12 months. Maximum loan amount is up to two months of verified net pay, not to exceed $10,000. No payments for the first 90 days (interest will continue to accrue during this deferment period)*. Eligibility requires at least 90 days of membership or qualifying credit and direct deposit or a minimum of $500 in monthly deposits to a Chartway account for the past three months.
3 First Mortgages, Student Loans, HELOCs, and Equity Loans are not eligible for a loan payment extension.
For all relief loan options: Limit of one (1) hardship loan per Member at a time. Relief loans may be refinanced based on eligibility. For government shutdown eligibility, loan amount is based on the most recent month of net direct deposit from the impacted employer. Proof of income and documentation of financial hardship required. Available only when Chartway Credit Union declares an eligible emergency event, such as a natural disaster in a FEMA-designated area or a government shutdown. Membership eligibility required; must be a Member in Good standing. Please refer to Chartway’s Membership Agreement for more information.
