Virginia Beach, VA (Oct. 31, 2017) — Witches, goblins, ghosts, and ghouls oh my! To celebrate Halloween, Chartway Federal Credit Union had a ghastly good time giving away tricks and treats to its courageous, costumed We Promise Foundation heroes across the country.
At its Headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and at its branch location in Humble, Texas, credit union employees had a frighteningly fun time decorating the credit union to spook up some fun for children facing medical challenges. More than 25 We Promise heroes had the opportunity to experience a little extra hocus pocus, and to receive candy from the employees who have been raising money year-round to make dreams and wishes come to life.
Additionally, Chartway team members in northern Utah partnered with the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Utah to host its annual Spooktacular Halloween Event. The credit union’s employees gave away goodie bags and prizes to bring joy, hope, and smiles to children and their families.
Since launching its foundation, Chartway FCU’s We Promise Foundation has raised more than $9,000,000 to make dreams and wishes come to life for children facing medical challenges.
