Lehi, UT (May 28, 2019) – With a goal to make dreams and wishes come to life for children facing medical hardship or illness, Chartway Federal Credit Union’s We Promise Foundation recently invited supporters to tee up for a day at its 4th Annual Putting 4 Promises Golf Tournament. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and supporters, the event raised $62,680 for children in Utah.

The tournament took place in Lehi, Utah, at Thanksgiving Point Golf Course – a 7,714-yard course that covers over 200 acres of land, making it the largest course in Utah. Golfers and guests were joined by several We Promise heroes, who arrived by limousine and received cheers and high-fives from participants. They also had the opportunity to cruise around the course in golf carts – learning from players how to hold an iron and sink a putt.

“Our 4th Annual Putting 4 Promises Golf Tournament gave people an opportunity to tee up and chip in to ensure that every eligible child right here in Utah can benefit from life-changing experiences that bring joy, hope, and smiles to children facing medical hardship or illness,” said Karen Lane, We Promise Foundation executive director.

Chartway’s We Promise Foundation has proudly given back to the communities it serves in Utah, providing more than $1.76 million in support of Utah-based organizations, including Make-A-Wish® Utah, Ability Found, and Dixie Regional Medical Center.
