We’re thrilled to tell you about an improvement that is taking place at Chartway that will enhance your Chartway credit card account. Since we're updating our card services program, you will be reissued a new card in August with more bells and whistles.

Yes, you will receive a new Chartway Visa® credit card and card number with Tap to Pay contactless technology. Your new credit card will have a new card number, expiration date, and CVV code for added protection.
No. Your rates and terms will remain the same.
Your new Chartway Visa® credit card will be mailed to you on or around — August 12th. Continue using your current card until you activate your new one on August 25th. Your current card will no longer be active after this date. If you don't receive your new card by August 26th, call us at (800) 678-8765 and we can help you!
Great question! When you get your new card in the mail, you'll also receive instructions on how to activate your card. You can activate your new credit card on August 25th by calling (800) 631-3197. We'll ask you a few quick security questions to activate your card.
Please note: your old card will no longer work after this date. You should continue to use your existing card until the new card is ready for activation. Please dispose of your old card once you have activated your new card.

Starting August 25th, if you'd like to create a new PIN for your new card, you can call us and select a unique PIN number by calling, (888) 886-0083.

All automatic payments scheduled on or after August 23rd will need to be rescheduled.

Sure can! We have many alerts and controls built into our online and mobile banking for members looking to enhance personalized control over their card including the ability to turn your card on or off if it’s lost or stolen. Every card will now have that feature!
You can call us for a new card (800) 678-8765 or you can order a new one within online and mobile banking. Now that each card holder has their own unique credit card number, if the joint account holder's credit card doesn't need to be replaced, it will remain active while your card is being replaced.
Good news! All of your existing points will transfer seamlessly to our enhanced Chartway Rewards program. You'll be able to continue to earn and redeem points in our current rewards website through — August 22nd.
Beginning August 23rd, our new Chartway Rewards website will be under construction and back up and running on September 5th – that’s when you’ll see all of your rewards that you've accrued during this time period transfer over, and you can begin redeeming again.
You'll still be awarded points for transactions you perform between August 23rd through September 5th.
