Where to Start?

We suggest the Official Visitor Center of Visit Chesapeake. If you’re coming on vacation, go to VisitChesapeake.com for all you need to know about planning your trip. You'll also find information about Chesapeake's sports facilities and resources for meeting planners. If you're looking for a place to host an event, the Chesapeake Conference Center offers a variety of services. If you’re moving to Chesapeake, visit our Residents page for resources you’ll need before and after you arrive. If you’re a business considering relocation, visit our Economic Development Department and find out why Chesapeake is where you want to do business.

Dinner and a Movie?

We are located only 10 minutes away from the new Cinema Café at Edinburg. It's a great place to grab dinner and see the latest blockbuster hits.

Cards and Gifts?

If you need to pick up a few cards for your loved ones, Hallmark Cards has it all. You’ll find them located nearby in the shopping plaza at Cedar Road and Battlefield Boulevard.

Hike and Picnic?

The Girl Scout Council is located right down the road and has a fantastic walking trail behind their building with several activities to do along the path, including an observation area to view the creek. Great place for a picnic for a family fun day!
