Why did Cadmus Credit Union merge with Chartway FCU?
Cadmus Credit Union was committed to meeting the financial needs of members for more than 60 years with convenient, affordable products and services. Given that Cadmus Printing was closing its doors, Cadmus CC was looking for a local credit union to partner with so members could continue to be served – and in new and improved ways!
Following thorough research, consideration, and discussions, the National Credit Union Association and the Virginia Bureau of Financial Institutions approved a merger between Cadmus and Chartway Federal Credit Union – a credit union admired for its financial strength and strong cultural commitment to making life more affordable and strengthening the communities it serves.
This means that effective August 1, 2020, all Cadmus members are now Chartway members – welcome to Chartway!
What are the benefits of this potential partnership?
Cadmus members will benefit from Chartway’s expansive branch and Direct Teller/ATM network, access to affordable products and services, highly competitive rates, fewer fees, a 24/7 Member Solutions Center, and the latest online, mobile, video, and telephone banking services, including mobile deposit, mobile bill pay, and digital wallets, as follows:
