Chartway Takes Our Member's Security Very Seriously.

Report immediately if you discover you have lost your cards or that they have been stolen. This limits their ability to be used and your possible liability for fraudulent purchases. Have the toll free numbers and your card numbers handy so you know whom to call.

If your Chartway cards are lost or stolen:

• For your credit card, Call 1-800-325-3678 as soon as possible.
• For your debit card, Call 1-866-333-4740 as soon as possible.

If you believe that charges on your card are fraudulent:

• Call us at 1-800-678-8765 or 757-552-1000
• Monday thru Friday
  8:30am to 9:00pm EST
• Saturdays
  9:00am to 5:00pm EST

Recommended actions if your wallet or purse is lost or stolen

Call the three national credit reporting organizations immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and social security number. The alert means any company that checks your credit knows your information was stolen and they have to contact you by phone to authorize new credit. The numbers are:

• Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742
• Trans Union: 1-800-680-7289
