About Advanced Authentication

Effective February 5, 2007, we will be upgrading Chartway’s eBranch Internet Banking with a new Advanced Authentication security feature. The date has been moved from January 8 to ensure the smoothest transition possible and make way for improved support tools and resources for you.

eBranch Internet Banking is Being Upgraded

Rest assured, all of the features and functions of eBranch that you’ve come to rely on will remain the same, along with a few improvements. However, the way you login to eBranch will change. Upon your first logon after the upgrade, you’ll be prompted to choose an image, a caption and challenge questions to establish your personalized security settings.

Multi-Layered Security Protects You 24/7

Once you’ve signed up, your image and caption will be displayed before you are asked to enter your Call24 PIN on eBranch. Never enter any personal information, including your Call24 PIN, without first seeing your image and caption. The security system will then authenticate your computer ensuring that there is not a fraudulent attempt to access your account and may ask challenge questions for further verification.
