Description:
This position is responsible to the Collections Manager for the efficient processing of assigned accounts. Collectors work with members via phone and written communication to determine the reasons for non-payment or slow payment of accounts. Collectors will recommend and justify charge-offs, judgements and repossessions.
Qualifications include: 1-3 years of previous Collections or Customer Service experience is required. Successful candidates will have working knowledge in the legal actions necessary to enforce collection of accounts (warrants, repossession, garnishments, bankruptcy, etc.)
The positions available are as follows:
1 Full-time Collector
Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm
One night per week 11am-8pm
One Saturday every 4 weeks 8am-1pm
2 Part-time 20 hour Collectors
Monday thru Thursday 4pm-8pm or 5pm-8pm
Every Saturday 8am-1pm

Events Coordinator

Description:
The Events Coordinator is responsible to the Executive Director of the We Promise Foundation to assist with all aspects of event coordination, development, and all corporate philanthropic endeavors supported by Chartway Federal Credit Union and its divisions. Manage and analyze results of each event in order to develop best practices and lessons learned for the success of future events. Assist with creating marketing campaigns, social media, and foundation quarterly newsletter.
Qualifications include a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, and 3 to 5 years of progressively more responsible job-related experience in corporate event planning. Prefer one to two years event planning experience and one to two years experience with a non-profit organization. Candidates should possess the ability to work well independently and have superior organizational and communication skills.
The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for working with an advertising agency to coordinate media opportunities, and to drive media placement strategy for TV, radio, newspaper, publications, outside, internet, etc. for all marketing campaigns. They will manage vendor relationships for advertising and marketing campaigns, including making recommendations on stations/publications for each Chartway promotion and maintaining brand compliance with advertising and marketing vendors. Responsible for writing and placing Money Minute spots. They will also act as event manager for our annual meeting, various branch opening celebrations, Member Appreciation, and other corporate events. They should have the ability to facilitate Volunteer and Senior Management participation in community and business-related events, and to assist with all aspects of event planning and fundraising for the We Promise Foundation.

Responsible to the Director of Accounting for the daily accounting responsibilities including: Accounts Payable, Treasury Management, Investment Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Bank Account Reconciliation, and General Ledger Account Reconciliations.
The Manager of Accounting is responsible for establishing and maintaining best practices in systems and processes surrounding the credit union’s currency/coin management. Establishes and maintains efficient treasury management processes and procedures and manages corporate banking relationships. Ensures the accurate and timely processing of disbursements and proper accounts payable interface with general ledger. Ensures accurate and timely tracking and accounting for investments and fixed assets. Oversees the accuracy of all bank account and general ledger account reconciliations.
Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Accounting, and 5+ years of recent accounting management experience in a bank or credit union with at least $2B in assets. CPA preferred, with active license and in good standing with state board of accountancy. Exceptional leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experience. Ability to delegate, develop, lead, monitor and evaluate personnel in the performance of duties. Experience in process improvement and accounting internal controls procedures, and in daily accounting procedures, and the preparation of reports, reconcilements and schedules. Knowledge in general accounting principles and regulatory requirements related to banks and/or credit unions.

The Senior Information Systems Engineer is responsible for translating the vision and direction for the Credit Union’s technology infrastructure. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience. MCSE/CCNP Certifications preferred. Experience with enterprise workstation imaging and remote application deployment utilizing SCCM or Group Policies. Candidates with programming/scripting interest and experience are preferred.
Broad knowledge of industry standard platforms is desirable, including demonstrable experience with Windows client and server operating systems; (Windows 7, Active Directory, Server 2008 R2, Exchange 2010, SQL Server, SharePoint, and System Center Administration), Cisco internetworking (routing protocols, hardening standards, QoS, and VOIP), HP, Cisco, and Dell servers, and SAN / NAS / Deduplication appliance management (from fiber channel to iSCSI). Experience with virtualization. VMWare ESX/ESXi experience preferred. Experienced in common IS technologies -- such as networking, DNS, anti-virus, anti-spam, SMTP, asset management, VOIP telephony, and VPNs are critical. Experience installing, monitoring and maintaining the health of a Windows 2008 Server and Active Directory-based network, especially in a 600+ user distributed environment.
